Association’s purpose and objectives

The purpose for which the incorporated association, Lake Bolac Eel Festival Inc., is established is:

To promote, organise and conduct the “Lake Bolac Eel Festival – Kuyang Lapakira (Plenty Eels)” in Lake Bolac in Victoria, Australia, and the association’s related activities.

Mission statement

We aim to:

  • Foster mutual respect and understanding between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples

  • Promote the Festival as a significant gathering place for people who care for the environment

  • Provide an inclusive, low cost event with cultural, creative and informative content that will enrich the life of our rural community.
